Gardiner Ridge Riders Activities
Gardiner Ridge Riders is a local volunteer organization that hosts activities and supports the maintenance of the local snowmobile trails. Activities include clearing brush and down tree limbs, repair existing bridges, building new bridges, setting and placing trail markers and barriers, building new or re-route trails and keeping an open dialogue with all land owners for the priviledge of using their land for our recreational snowmobiling activity. During the winter months, the club grooms the trails, as weather permits. We support the Maine Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Department by following all rules and regulations on our trail system.
The Gardiner Ridge Riders maintain over 25 miles of trails. Our local trails allow for the best possible experience right out your back door. We have a variety of settings, including forest and open field riding. You can reach Richmond, West Gardiner and Farmingdale directly from our trails. We have a trail access to the Kennebec River. With Dave's Diner located on our trails, you can enjoy a break, breakfast or lunch. Additionally, you can park and unload your sled at Ainslie's Market. At Ainslie's Market you can fuel up your sled or simply take a break.
